Terms & Conditions – Hastings Atelier
1. About Us
Hastings Atelier (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides art classes, workshops and courses from our studio at:
Unit 2, First Floor, 12 Claremont, Hastings, East Sussex, TN34 1HA

2. Booking & Payment
All bookings are made via our website and are confirmed upon full payment.
Payments are securely processed via Stripe. We do not store payment details.
3. Nature of Services
All products sold are in-person classes, workshops or courses tied to specific dates and times.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date.
By purchasing a class or workshop, you agree to the following:
- Bookings are non-refundable
- If you cannot attend, you may transfer your place to another person
- Transfers may be offered at our discretion with at least 48 hours’ notice
- If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or alternative date
5. Changes to Classes
We reserve the right to:
- Change tutors where necessary
- Adjust class content
- Reschedule or cancel classes
Where possible, reasonable notice will be given.
6. Attendance & Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Arrive on time
- Follow reasonable instructions
- Respect the studio environment
We reserve the right to refuse attendance without refund in cases of inappropriate behaviour.
7. Liability
Participation in classes is at your own risk.
We are not liable for:
- Personal injury except where caused by negligence
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
8. Materials
Details of included materials will be stated on each course page.
Participants may be required to bring their own materials where specified.
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
